Neuroscientist Jorge Moll is from Brazil and specializes in the functioning of the brain. He is the Founder and Head of the D’Or Institute of Research and Education which has given him his medical background. He also received his MD in Neuroscience from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where he completed residency in the years of 1994 and 1997. Jorge Moll has a Ph.D. in Experimental Pathophysiology, Faulty of Medicine, and it is from the University of Sao Paulo. He is a post-doctorate research fellow and has worked with the National Institute of Health. He has helped people who are experiencing ailments that make them not be able to live everyday life normally. Dr. Moll specializes in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience. Dr. Moll’s passion has driven him to produce research in the Neuroscience fields. He is teaching countries more about the brain, and how it functions as a whole part of the human system. Dr. Moll hopes to improve the healthcare of people and meets with many patients on a daily basis. He speaks with teachers, businessmen, students, and other scientists from around the world. Dr. Moll wishes to collaborate with people in the future, as he does now by letting them know about his ideas. His research is also very directed in gene therapy and regenerative medicine. His extensive background in studying the operations of the brain have led him to making new developments in cognitive medicine such as the Moll-lab. Dr. Moll has performed many experiments on the brain which has given him more proof to guide his research in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience. Dr. Moll has measured how the brain responds to moral beliefs and decisions, and other factors triggered by societal factors.
