These two outfits received accreditation in 2001. Presently, their customer satisfaction ratings are going through the roof. This is an indicator of efficiency in the delivery of their services. The accreditation this outfits received was another indicator of the quality of the service delivery. The NCQA, which is responsible for quality assurance, only issues accreditations where certain expectations have been reached: quality services and customer protection.
The President of InnovaCare Health is a man of renown in the health industry, having come from Aveta Inc. Richard Shinto’s leadership as well as technical know-how has earned him repute coupled with an award: The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The award is a statement of his commitment to excellence. His internship in Southern California launched his career. Rick Shinto has worked asVice President for Medical Management before shifting to Cal Optima Health Plan to serve as its Chief Medical Officer. At Medical Pathways Management Company, he worked as the Chief Medical officer. He was also the Chief Operating Officer at the facility. Richard Shinto was also employed by NAMM California, years before joining InnovaCare.
Richard has published several material on health care. He attained an M.B.A at the University of Redlands. His Medial education was a product of his days at New York’s State University. It was at the University of California that he earned his Bachelor’s degree.
Penelope Kokkinides is the current Chief Administrative Officer. She previously served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. At InnovaCare Health, she once served as Vice President for Clinical Operations. Penelope has a wealth of experience in the industry: over 20 years. Health Care management and operations are also in her area of expertise.

This enhanced profitability margins have been attributed to the leadership of Rick Shinto and Penelope Kokkinides to the healthcare providing company. The two executives have used new strategies to bring several changes at the firm.
Richard ‘Rick’ Shinto is the president and chief executive officer of InnovaCare Health. He was appointed to serve in these positions in 2012. Previously, he worked for Aveta. Between 2008 and 2012, Rick Shinto served as the president and CEO of Aveta. He gained loads of experience while serving in these top positions. Initially, Rick was a member of Aveta’s management team.
Shinto has a long history and experience in managed care. Over the last 20 years, he has worked for various companies. For instance, Rick Shinto worked as the chief medical officer for NAMM California. He also served in the same capacity at Medical Pathways Management Company while doubling up as the company’s chief operating officer.
Dr. Shinto began his career in Southern California by working as an intern and pulmonologist. With the passage of time, he became MedPartners’ corporate vice president of medical management. In 1997, he quit the position to join Cal Optima Health Plan in Orange County as the chief medical officer. His increased experience in different leadership positions launched him on the path to becoming a great executive. Dr. Shinto holds several academic qualifications, including a B.S. from the University of California, State University of New York’s medical degree, and a University of Redlands’ M.B.A.
Penelope Kokkinides is the chief administrative officer and COO at InnovaCare Health. Like Dr. Shinto, she joined the company from Aveta Inc, where she served as the COO and vice president in charge of clinical operations. She is extensively experienced in government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. Previously, at Aveta, she was charged with the mandate of improving the efficiency of these programs.
Kokkinides has worked for various companies. Some of them are Centerlight HealthCare, AmeriChoice, and Touchstone Health. At Centerlight, she served as the executive vice president and COO while at Touchstone, she was the chief operating officer. Moreover, she was the corporate vice president of AmeriChoice’s care management and disease management.
The top health care executive has a sound educational background. Penelope holds a biological sciences degree from Binghamton University. In addition, she has New York University’s master’s degree in social works, and Columbia University’s master’s degree in public health.
Maggie Gill is one of the most successful women in the medical field. She was appointed to join the Memorial University Medical Center, popularly known as MUMC several years ago. Gill first became the vice president for finance and managed care in 2004. After working hard, Maggie was promoted to become the chief operating officer of the institution in the year 2005. Gill managed to impress the board of directors and investors in Memorial University Medical Center, and this made her acquire the position of chief executive officer and president in the institution in 2011.
At her current position, Maggie Gill is in charge of several activities. She is responsible for the leadership of the vice president, physical leaders, senior vice presidents and other individual in the institution. Maggie is also responsible for directly overseeing the government relations, physical relations, Memorial Health University Physicians, Internal audits, Trauma services, perioperative services, corporate communications, neuroscience and orthopedic programs, facilities management and the daily operations in the organizations.
Before joining this organization, Maggie Gill had worked in several other companies. She was once employed by a company known as Tenet South Florida Health Systems to work as the chief financial officer. Maggie spent five years in the organization, and she managed to get the Tenet Outstanding CFO award several times because of her achievements. While working at Tenet, Maggie was able to work at North Shore Medical Center, located in Miami, the Palmetto General Hospital based in Hialeah and the Coral Gables Hospital found in Coral Gables. The company recognizes him as one of the individuals who has brought significant changes.
Maggie Gill went for her first degree at the Florida State University where she graduated with honors. Afterward, she went ahead for further studies at the Saint Leo University found in Florida where she earned her MBA with honors. Maggie is also believed to have completed her coursework at the Wharton School, specializing in strategic management and thinking.
The successful Maggie started her career by establishing herself in business. Later on, Maggie Gill moved to teaching. Maggie has always had a special interest in matters concerning psychology and adult learning, and this helped her achieve her dreams. She had done well in complementary medicine, one of her greatest passions. Maggie is believed to be certified in CranioSacral Therapy, a recognition he acquired from the Upledger Institute International. She has won several awards in the past due to her achievements.
